Aluu Prosper Nigerian, b. 1999

Aluu Prosper (born 1999) is a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist known for his expressive paintings and sculptures with a focus on figurative subjects. During his childhood, he honed his skills by drawing comic book characters, which allowed him to develop a deep understanding of human anatomy and expressions.
 
He attended the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he majored in building technology with a particular interest in architectural design. Alongside his academic studies, he also acquired proficiency in various creative disciplines, including graphic design, illustration, 3D modelling, video editing, and animation. In 2017, Prosper made the transition to becoming a full-time studio artist.
 
His works were first showcased at the Anambra Book Craft Festival in 2018, where he was awarded the Peace Poster prize. In 2020 he was signed as a brand ambassador to Tecno Mobile Nigeria. His works are in private collections both locally and internationally.
