Robert Oniha Nigerian, b. 1999

Robert Oniha (born 1999) is a Nigerian visual artist who specialises in creating surreal and contemporary portraits and figures using charcoal and fabric. In 2022, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Afe Babalola University, Ekiti.
 
Oniha has actively collaborated with various NGOs and charity organisations, including ‘Tender Arts NG’ and ‘Art Saw The Need.’ Through these initiatives, he has taught art to underprivileged children in Lagos and provided them with art materials. His works were featured in the ‘Arts for Sustainable Development Goals’ exhibition, organised by the United Nations Information Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2017.
