Ademola Ojo Nigerian, b. 1995

Ademola Ojo (born 1995) is a visual artist from Ile-Ife, Osun State and studied Fine & Applied Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His works seek to highlight the rich history, vibrant culture, and distinct identity of the Yoruba people.
 
Ojo incorporates scarification patterns that are commonly associated with Ife Bronze Heads, effectively depicting the tribal identity of the Yoruba community. Through the use of large oil and acrylic paintings, Ojo explores the effects of Western contemporary culture, and its influence on the style of the present generation.
 
His works have been featured in international and local group exhibitions, fairs, residencies and auctions.
